Short Presentation
Eugeny Kenig received his PhD in 1985 from the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow (Theme "Distillation and absorption of multicomponent mixtures"). From 1994 to 1995 he was Alexander von Humboldt fellow at TU Dortmund University; afterwards he continued his research work at the Universities of Dortmund and Essen as well as at BASF AG in Ludwigshafen. In 1999 he accomplished his "Habilitation" in Dortmund and became Privatdozent (Associate professor). In 2006 he received a professor title. His research focuses on kinetic modelling of various processes and phenomena, reactive separations, CFD, microseparations and measurement of reaction kinetics.
Senior scientist and group leader at the laboratory of fluid separations until 30 June 2008. Since 1 July 2008, he is Head of the Chair of Fluid Process Engineering at the University of Paderborn.
