Anna Kunze studied Biochemical Engineering at TU Dortmund University and finished her degree in 2011 with the diploma thesis "Experimental and theoretical investigation of 1-Butanol-extraction with an ionic liquid from aqueous solutions". Since November 2011 she is working as a Ph.D. student at the laboratory of fluid separations at TU Dortmund university. The focus of her research is the intensification of reactive absorption processes, such as e.g. the application of the enzyme carbonic anhydrase as a catalyst for CO2 separation. Furthermore, she worked on the standardization of mass transfer measurements of absorption and desorption.
Member of research staff at the laboratory of fluid separations until August 2015 in the field of CO2 absorption
