Thomas Waltermann
Short Presentation
Thomas Waltermann studied Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2009 – 2013 and Master of Science Chemical Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2013 – 2015. He graduated with the master thesis “Dynamic modeling of a parametric pumping process for the enrichment of proteins from an aqueous solution”. Until August 2019, he worked as a Ph.D. student at the laboratory of fluid separations at TU Dortmund University. The focus of his research was the optimization-based conceptual design of separation processes in combination with rigorous modeling approaches.
